There’s a whole lot of fun & excitement, waiting for you at Indian Head!  It’s a river adventure close to home.   Canoe, Raft, Kayak or Tube… It’s fun & easy for families, friends and groups of all ages.

The Delaware River is a National Scenic & Recreational River, spectacular in it’s pristine beauty.  Kick back for a gentle calm water float or go all out for an exciting white water trip.  Then relax and enjoy our popular chicken & pork barbecue with all the trimmings.  Sleep under the stars in our riverside campground, unique bunkhouse or cozy log cabins. Come and experience the fun and excitement at   Indian Head.  It’s what memories are made of.

Rafting
Rafting at Indian Head Canoes and Rafts
Everyone can do this.  Grandma, Grandpa, even children as small as 30lbs.  Our professional rafts can accommodate up to 6 people and require no experience.  A great family adventure. Swimming (water temperature are around 80 degrees in summer), picnicking, shooting the rapids and relaxing, with family & friends. All this and more included free when you experience the Delaware with Indian Head.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Canoeing at Indian Head Canoes and RaftsWant something a little more adventuresome? Try canoeing or kayaking.  It takes a little more experience, but not a lot. Our kayaks are made for river touring and offer both stability and maneuverability.  We have both solo and Kayaking at Indian Head Canoes and Raftsdouble kayaks. Our canoes hold up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

 

 

Cabins, Bunkhouse & Campground

Log Cabins - Over looking the beautiful Delaware RiverCabins and Bunk houses at Indian Head Canoes and Rafts, each log cabin is built with a large deck complete with picnic table and charcoal grill. Each authentic log cabin sleeps up to 8 people, 6 in spacious bunk beds and 2 in a king size bed. Just bring your own sleeping bags and pillows to enjoy a truly unique stay at Indian Head.

Bunkhouse Our bunkhouse is another unique and fun way to spend your nights at Indian Head. We have 2 units.  One sleeps 16 in 4 rooms with a full bath and shower along with a large private deck and outdoor cooking grills and a place for your campfire at night. The other unit sleeps 10 in 2 rooms with their own bath and shower, cooking grills and campfire ring.  Just bring your sleeping bags and never sleep on the ground again!

Campground - All sites are wooded with picnic tables and fire rings. A bath house with hot showers and flush toilets is open all night for your convenience, along with a store offering camping supplies, ice, soda, snacks and tee shirts, etc.

Don’t forget our Southern Style Barbecue! There’s no better way to end your day than to relax and enjoy our All You Can Eat Chicken & Pork BBQ! Slow cooked on our special grill makes it finger lickin good, including baked beans, salads, rolls & butter, coffee, iced tea and our homemade apple cobbler for desert.
