The Pale Whale Canoe Fleet is Cook Forest’s premiere livery furnishing guests with Grumman Canoes, kayaks and tubes. Located in the “Heart of Cook Forest” on the beautiful “Wild and Scenic” Clarion River, the Clarion River is a family river rated flat with minimal Class 1 ripples.
The friendly knowledgeable staff is easily identified by their teal canoe shirts. They are eager to accommodate your trip on the river. They are there to inform you, answer you questions and help with your needs. We are pet friendly.
The Clarion River has numerous species of birds including Bald Eagles, fish and mammals. Fishermen will find many trout, bass and other species.
The Pale Whale has plenty of convenient parking. There are clean complete restrooms, changing rooms and a foot wash station for your use.

Adjoining the Pale Whale Canoe Livery is a Café serving Hershey’s delicious premium ice cream with burgers, fresh cut fries, and many additional snacks. Cooksburg Dry goods have quaint gifts, snacks and beverages.
Lodging can be found at Cook Riverside Cabins which is part of the 14 acres that constitutes the Pale Whale, Cooksburg Dry Goods and the Cooksburg Café. Information is available at the Dry Goods store and at info@cookriverside.com .
