         From an hours getaway on Wade's Bayou, a cruise to Saugatucks parks, or a day's adventure winding through the 55,000 acre Allegan State Forest, kayakers of all ages will enjoy this southwest Michigan water trail.

         Single and tandem kayaks in several sizes are available for 1 to 8 hour river trips. No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome to relax in a kayak on this Class I, Designated Natural Scenic River.

         The changing landscape often reveals eagles, swans, heron, deer, turtles, foxes, mink, coyote, trout, salmon, even otter and an abundance of other native animals and plants.

         Guided Venitian Night and Fourth of July fireworks Paddles and Sunset Paddles are available by reservation.

         KAYAKING & COTTAGE packages are available from RUNNING RIVERS KAYAKS or the staff will help you secure a primitive camp site and provide livery to the river.
